Kasa-obake is kind Tsukumogami, things suddenly become alive after around for a hundred years. The notion of inanimate objects that suddenly seem to make sense to see the beginning of folk tales or legends. The strange thing about Kasa-obake is that they have their own name, only to separate them from other Tsukumogami. It is true, Kasa-obake is the name of the umbrella handlebars.
